Leather Chest Holster for Semi Autos

I received mine today before the expected delivery date. I am blown away by the attention to detail and the functionality of the design. The leather itself is top quality. It feels smooth and rigid with beautiful coloring and precise stitching. Mine happened to fit my Glock 20 without any ziploc trick or break in period. The nylon webbing is smoother than expected and seems very durable. It keeps the holster tight to the body without sacrificing movement or comfort. The nylon’s ability to fold up and tuck away neatly with the holster is a personal plus I didn’t think about until coming across this holster. Wearing it just feels right, dispersing the weight of the firearm with an intuitive draw angle. I’m most excited about the thumb break. It is slick. Longevity is to be determined but I have no doubts. I hike/backpack all over Montana and, coincidentally, often through the section of Absaroka range in Paradise Valley. Overall, I’m quite pleased with this holster. I’ll put it to the test and if I ever do need another one, I will surely be getting it from Paradise Valley Leather.

The holster I received is top quality. It fits the firearm perfectly, and the thumb-break is exceptional. Complete one-handed draw, re-holster, and re-snap. I'm incredibly impressed with the fit. I had only one tiny little concern... I had to re-burn/soften one of the nylon harness ends, as it was somewhat sharp to begin with. It scratched me a little through a very thin t-shirt (the kind I would wear backpacking in the summer). It was an easy fix though, and I am glad to now own such a well made holster. Thanks!

Very nicely crafted holster for my H&K 9mm. Living in Wyoming it's nice to comfortably carry a sidearm in the outdoors. The leather is beautiful and it fits my gun perfectly. One small issue I have is that the straps are a bit big so I had to cinch them right up to the top of the buckles. I'm 5'7 and 125 lbs so not petite but there was way too much webbing to fit my frame.

Received it fairly quick for it being a hand made item. Craftsmanship is beautiful. I am a small female and was able to adjust it to my size very easily and comfortably. My Glock fits easily, quick snap is not too easy and not to tight, gun is able to insert and remove with the right snugness. Love it over all! Highly recommend and Will order from again!

I’ve been using my chest holster for my Glock 22 gen. 3 (police issue) for a few months now. I came across this particular holster because I am an avid hiker, and I recently turned 21 and got my CPL (in accordance with the laws in my state of residence). I use an Osprey Atmos AG50 pack for my longer backpacking trips, and as such I have to deal with large hip and chest straps, which prevent the use of traditional appendix carry. This holster fits perfectly in the space between the straps, and is easily accessible at all times. The harness the holster comes on is comfortable and adjustable, and doesn’t come loose. For reference, I am roughly 5’9” and 150 lbs, and I had plenty of extra nylon to cut and burn off, which is definitely a good thing as I kept some extra for if I want to wear thicker clothing or coats. On the topic of concealment, this holster may not be right for you as a concealment holster. It’s not particularly small, and will print pretty obviously through everything but a decently thick coat. However, in my opinion, this holster isn’t marketed for concealment anyways, and that’s not an issue for me. The retention and build quality is beyond stellar. The holster is extremely well-made and my handgun doesn’t wiggle around at all in the holster, even during intense hiking/climbing. The holster fits my gun perfectly, and after about 20 times holstering/drawing my handgun, the draw is very smooth and light once the thumb break is engaged. The holster is built with quality in mind, and the work and effort that went into making it definitely shows. This product is quite possibly the best holster I’ve used, and it is an indispensable piece of my hiking kit. If you’re on the fence about getting one of these, I 100% recommend it. In the strongest terms possible, I think this holster is worth the price and the wait. It’s built by a real person (or people) who clearly takes pride in their work, and you can rest assured that your hard-earned money is going to someone who genuinely is good at what they do and is producing good products.
