The holster you're looking at is our Leather Chest Holster with thumb break release. It is made with the finest veg tanned leather, 100% hand crafted by our team in Montana to last generations. It is a true "Woods Carry" holster that is best used when you don't want a gun on your hip, but you want quick access to it. Most popular uses include hunting, backpacking, stream fishing, and other backcountry adventures. We developed our chest holsters with a thumb break retention which allows for your weapon to stay secured until you are ready to draw. The thumb break is a seemless one hand draw. Every holster is molded specifically to your guns make and model, making it a guranteed fit. Since the holster is made of leather it may need a little time to break in at first, once broken in it should be a smooth draw. Each chest holster comes assembled with a 1" nylon webbing harness. We chose the nylon for multiple reasons, the nylon webbing is lightweight/flexible, packable, and adjustable. The harness has three adjustment points to easily accomodate the gear you wear for the changing seasons. The nylon waist strap is easy for each person to cut to the desired length making it customizable to the carrier. All of our products come with a 100% money back gurantee!!!
Fits sizes X-small to XXXL in the same harness. The buckle strap comes long, so it will need to be cut/burned once you size it. Need larger than that? Just let us know in "order comments" at check out.

My Glock 20 and I love this chest holster. The design is great and well thought out. My gun fit perfect in the holster and with the leather strap clipped in around the back of the slide, its not going anywhere. It holds the gun very secure and thanks to a thin well placed piece of metal on the back of the thumb break, it is still easy to quickly engage the thumb break and draw your handgun. I like that feature because I was worried about how quickly I could draw my gun out having to push a leather thumb break towards my chest, but the metal support gives your perfect leverage to easily have a under 2 second draw. I appreciate the choice in minimal hardware on the retention system, many other chest holsters come with 2-3 large buckles and up to 2 in webbing. Going with a single small 1 inch buckle, D rings, and 1 inch webbing makes for easy setup, easy on and off as well as a very smooth basically unnoticeable ride with a pack on. The holster holds secure and comfortably on my body. It kind of reminds me of an Enigma holster the way the leather around the webbing connection points wrap around and conform to the curve of your chest. I will say I had to shorten the webbing on the retention system because it came with a lot of excess and did not fit properly. But after having a friend shorten and resew the shoulder strap I couldn't be happier with it. I recommend this company and holster to anyone looking for a reliable way to carry in the backcountry. I just finished a 6 day backpacking trip in the Bob Marshall and the holster performed beyond expectations for hiking, fly fishing, and just hanging around. I love that my gun is always within reach and no longer confined to a holster on my backpack or dealing with getting that holster off my backpack and onto my belt just to have it on me. I have yet to find a way to make it work with my bino harness, but that's not the holsters fault it's not made to be worn with one. Great reliable product, you won't regret buying one.
