Leather Chest Holster for Semi Autos

I’ve been using my chest holster for my Glock 22 gen. 3 (police issue) for a few months now. I came across this particular holster because I am an avid hiker, and I recently turned 21 and got my CPL (in accordance with the laws in my state of residence). I use an Osprey Atmos AG50 pack for my longer backpacking trips, and as such I have to deal with large hip and chest straps, which prevent the use of traditional appendix carry. This holster fits perfectly in the space between the straps, and is easily accessible at all times. The harness the holster comes on is comfortable and adjustable, and doesn’t come loose. For reference, I am roughly 5’9” and 150 lbs, and I had plenty of extra nylon to cut and burn off, which is definitely a good thing as I kept some extra for if I want to wear thicker clothing or coats. On the topic of concealment, this holster may not be right for you as a concealment holster. It’s not particularly small, and will print pretty obviously through everything but a decently thick coat. However, in my opinion, this holster isn’t marketed for concealment anyways, and that’s not an issue for me. The retention and build quality is beyond stellar. The holster is extremely well-made and my handgun doesn’t wiggle around at all in the holster, even during intense hiking/climbing. The holster fits my gun perfectly, and after about 20 times holstering/drawing my handgun, the draw is very smooth and light once the thumb break is engaged. The holster is built with quality in mind, and the work and effort that went into making it definitely shows. This product is quite possibly the best holster I’ve used, and it is an indispensable piece of my hiking kit. If you’re on the fence about getting one of these, I 100% recommend it. In the strongest terms possible, I think this holster is worth the price and the wait. It’s built by a real person (or people) who clearly takes pride in their work, and you can rest assured that your hard-earned money is going to someone who genuinely is good at what they do and is producing good products.

This was my 2nd. purchase of same holster so that probably says it all, but this was for a relative because I loved the 1st. one. PERFECT: FIT, FORM, & FUNCTION

I got an all black holster for my 10mm Glock 20 and I like how it sits on my lower chest area and how it feels so natural. I actually used the long strap around my lower torso to hold everything really in place as I do jog at times while hiking and it keeps everything secure. You need something like this in this country for when the Bears are out.

Awesome! It's a tight fit, but that's good. The leather just needs a little stretching, like breaking in a baseball mitt. Fantastic holster!
